The 2nd Internal Medicine Clinic has been operating at IASO General Clinic since March 2021 and is staffed with physicians and associates with extensive experience in managing complex medical cases, both in the public and private sector.
Its activities cover the entire range of general medicine in adult patients, in the area of prevention and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, as well as in formulating monitoring plans as part of family medicine.
Apart from the clinical work, one of the main activities of the Clinic is research, as it participates in multiple events of Greek medical societies, while it prepares posters and presents interesting cases in Greek and international conferences. At the same time, it participates in patient monitoring protocols in partnership with clinics of the Athens University Medical School.
Field of expertise
The Clinic doctors specialize in metabolic diseases, and especially arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetes mellitus, as well as vascular diseases.
The treatment of each patient is fully individualized and adapted to their personal traits. The excellent close working relationship with doctors of other specialties offers a well-rounded approach, providing solutions and always respecting the principles of good medical practice. Patient follow-up continues even after discharge, based on pre-planned algorithms, overseeing the course of their health.
