The clinics of IASO Group have developed and are implementing a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001:2015. The Quality Management System is applied to all Departments / Laboratories / Units of IASO Group’s Clinics, with the aim of providing safe and high-quality healthcare services to our patients. The Quality Management System of IASO Group’s Clinics is certified according to the International Standard ISO 9001:2015 since 2012, by the reputable and internationally recognized Certification Body TÜV Hellas (a subsidiary of the German Certification Body TÜV Nord Group).

The Quality Management System of IASO Group’s Clinics is certified according to the Standard ELOT EN 15224:2017 since 2022, by the reputable and internationally recognized Certification Body TÜV Hellas (a subsidiary of the German Certification Body TÜV Nord Group).

The Assisted Reproduction (IVF) Units of IASO Group’s Clinics have developed and are implementing a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of the Standard ELOT EN 15224:2017. The Quality Management System is applied to all Departments of IASO Group’s Clinics, with the aim of providing safe and high-quality healthcare services to our patients. The Quality Management System of the IVF Units is certified according to the Standard ELOT EN 15224:2017 since 2016, by the reputable and internationally recognized Certification Body TÜV Hellas (a subsidiary of the German Certification Body TÜV Nord Group). The IVF Units of IASO Group’s clinics are among the first assisted reproduction units in Greece to receive this specific certification, which is also stipulated by the legal framework (Presidential Decree 10/2016, Ministerial Decision 6901/2015), for Assisted Reproduction Units and related Cryopreservation Banks.

Temos International Healthcare Accreditation (TIHA), based in Germany, was founded in 2010 and is the only International Accreditation Body that focuses on the quality of international patient management with regard to the medical and non-medical services provided. To this end, Temos International has developed an accreditation standard, “Standards – Quality in Medical Care – For Hospitals”, whose aim is to validate and optimize the hospital’s medical, nursing and support services for international patients, as well as to ensure compliance with safety and clinical effectiveness standards for all patients.

IASO Group’s Clinics have developed and are implementing a Quality Management System that meets all the requirements of the TEMOS International standard. Since 2013, IASO Group’s Clinics have been accredited with the Accreditation Standard “Quality in Medical Care” by the international organization TEMOS International, confirming the high-quality healthcare services provided to patients of IASO Group’s Clinics.

This reaccreditation is especially significant for IASO Group due to the expansion of TEMOS International’s accreditation standards to a wider range of functions and processes of healthcare providers, taking into account that the specialized accreditation programs of TEMOS International are validated and approved by ISQUA EEA (International Society of Quality in Healthcare, External Evaluation Association). ISQUA is an internationally-renowned Body, well-known for being the “accreditor of accreditors” in healthcare services.

Temos International has developed an accreditation standard “Standards – Quality in Reproductive Care” which aims and focuses on the “state-of-the-art” treatment, care and management of women and couples receiving assisted reproduction services and applies the requirements of international patients traveling within the framework of cross-border healthcare. It concerns autonomous units and IVF and assisted reproduction clinics. It satisfies the needs of international patients, giving particular emphasis to legal, cultural and ethical dimensions of the services. Furthermore, it ensures the optimal result with regard to the clinical-laboratory work of the units and promotes high-quality healthcare, reducing potential risks, based on the principles of medical ethics.

The Assisted Reproduction Unit – Institute of Life IASO has developed and are implementing a Quality Management System that meets all the requirements of the TEMOS International standard. Since 2015, the IVF Unit - Institute of Life IASO has been accredited with the Accreditation Standard “Quality in Reproductive Care” by the international organization TEMOS International, confirming the high-quality healthcare services provided to patients of the IVF Unit – Institute of Life IASO.

Since 2013, IASO Group’s Clinics have been proclaimed and recommended by the Diplomatic Council as “Best Hospitals Worldwide 2014”, a distinction that was renewed and is valid to this day as “Preferred Partner Hospital”, highlighting the Council’s preference for IASO Group’s Clinics. The Diplomatic Council, based in The Hague, is an international think tank organization, with members comprising international personalities from the fields of diplomacy, politics, industry, art and sports. This recognition follows the Certifications and Accreditations of IASO Group’s Clinics by TEMOS International for the quality of medical care, and by TÜV Hellas (TÜV Nord) in accordance with the standards ISO 9001:2015 and ELOT EN 15224:2017, for the high-quality services provided and their state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The Central Laboratories of Medical Biopathology, the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory and the Cytology Laboratory of IASO Clinic have developed and are implementing a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 15189:2022. The aforementioned laboratories of IASO Clinic have been accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD) based on the ISO 15189:2022 standard in relevant Parameters according to the Official Scope of Accreditation of the Central Laboratories of Medical Biopathology with Certificate No 1245-1 and the Official Scope of Accreditation of the Cytology Laboratory with Certificate No 1371.

The central kitchens of IASO Group’s clinics have developed and are implementing a Food Safety Management System in accordance with the requirements of the standard ISO 22000:2018. The Food Safety Management System is implemented under very strict hygiene and safety conditions, in order to provide safe and high-quality meals to patients of IASO Group’s clinics. The Food Safety Management System of IASO Group’s Clinics is certified according to the standard ISO 22000:2018 by the reputable and internationally recognized Certification Body TÜV Hellas (a subsidiary of the German Certification Body TÜV Nord Group).

Since 2007, the Stem Cell Bank of IASO Group’s Medstem Services S.A. has been operating under the accreditation awarded by AABB (formerly American Association of Blood Banks). Within the framework of the accreditation audit, an assessment of the bank’s laboratories is carried out by AABB assessors and its performance on a medical, technical and administrative level is certified. During the audit, the quality system and the operations of the bank are inspected. Obtaining the accreditation certificate is proof that the bank meets or exceeds the requirements of the accreditation standard.
