The 1st Internal Medicine Clinic focuses on diagnosing and treating diseases within the entire range of Internal Medicine.
It deals with patients who need hospitalization due to acute or chronic diseases. Working closely with all diagnostic departments, as well as doctors of all specialties at IASO General Clinic, it aims at the coordinated and comprehensive treatment of all health issues during hospitalization and follow-up after discharge.
At the same time, it focuses on monitoring patients with chronic diseases on an outpatient basis, with a keen interest in cardiovascular risk factors, such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia and obesity, both in the general population and during pregnancy.
Finally, it performs preventive medicine, in accordance with international guidelines, regarding the planning of the necessary diagnostic tests based on medical history, age and the individual needs of each patient.
The medical team has 30 years of experience in the private sector and in ICUs.
