Discharge procedure
On your discharge day, the attending physician signs your discharge papers and gives you instructions about your medications and nutrition. The hospitalization file is sent to Patient Accounts. Once the file has been checked and the hospitalization is invoiced, you need to settle your bill at the cashier and receive your discharge papers.
Bill settlement
Upon admission, patients pay part of the hospitalization fee in advance. This advance is deducted when settling the final hospitalization bill. If hospitalization is prolonged, you will be notified by the Patient Accounts staff
about your bill and whether you need to pay an additional amount. You may settle your bill through e-banking or using a debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners, American Express). For amounts up to €500, you may also pay in cash at
Patient Accounts. Doctor’s fees are separate from the hospitalization fees.
For amounts over €1,000, you may talk to the cashier and arrange payment in interest-free installments. You can use the interest-free installment plan through the IASO Group My Club Card Visa.
Patient Accounts is located on the 1st floor.
