On-Call Duty

The on-call duty schedule of IASO Thessalias involves the participation and harmonious collaboration of more than 60 physicians of eight different specialties, which enables us to provide healthcare services 24/7 throughout the year. The specialties of physicians on call daily in our clinic are:

• Internal Medicine
• Cardiology
• General Surgery
• Obstetrics - Gynecology
• Orthopedics
• Anesthesiology
• Neonatology
• Intensive Care Medicine

Physicians on call are supported around the clock by our department of medical imaging and the microbiology laboratory, to ensure that they can promptly investigate all medical cases and choose the appropriate treatment.  They are in close collaboration with the Outpatient Departments and ready to intervene at any time, which means that all medical cases are treated on time regardless of the specialty required.

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

On call 24/7, throughout the year, performing coronary angiographies and implanting pacemakers immediately in case of acute myocardial infarctions. 

The physicians of IASO Thessalias are on call every day around the clock, seven days a week, ready to face any medical emergency at all times.
