With a deep sense of pride and responsibility, IASO Thessalias proceeded with a symbolic Adoption Act, taking the Larissa Municipal Retirement Home under its wing, in the true spirit of giving.

For over ten years now, IASO Thessalias has been offering local citizens top-level healthcare services, eagerly aiming to safeguard their health and approach each patient’s problem from a scientific perspective. Since its establishment, IASO Thessalias has managed to grow further and become the most powerful healthcare provider in Central Greece. Given the trust the people of Thessaly have placed in it for its efforts since 2010, it is now time for IASO Thessalias to give back to the people supporting it.

Following the very fruitful meeting at the Retirement Home’s facilities between the CEO and General Manager of IASO Thessalias, Theodoros Talaris, and the Manager of the Larissa Municipal Retirement Home, Katerina Ziazia, where the key needs of the Retirement Home were presented, IASO Thessalias is ready to take action to safeguard the health of the elderly residents, offering: check-ups, diagnostic tests, onsite visits by hospital employees for blood draws, and organized visits by IASO Thessalias associate physicians for physical examinations of the elderly.

Moreover, new catering equipment has already been delivered to the Retirement Home’s kitchen, while care meals prepared by the certified team of IASO Thessalias kitchen staff will soon be available. Works have also already started for the gradual restoration of the Holy Chapel of Saint Catherine, located in the courtyard of the Larissa Municipal Retirement Home.

Apart from acknowledgment from the community, the people you are hosting and caring for at the Larissa Municipal Retirement Home also deserve safe and quality living conditions.
