2410 996000 At the Urodynamic Laboratory of IASO Thessalias, Urodynamic Study is carried out with the new state-of-the-art Jive Urodynamic System (MMT / Dantec), which has been designed with the aim of facilitating the diagnosis of diseases of the Lower Urinary Tract, in order to provide the optimal solution for patients’ urological conditions promptly and safely.
Indications of lower urinary tract dysfunction in patients, in order to conduct Urodynamic Testing:
- Enuresis
- Urgent urination
- Urge incontinence
- Stress incontinence
- Mixed incontinence
- Symptoms of ureteral obstruction in men under 50 years of age
- Post-prostatectomy incontinence
- Post-prostatectomy dysuria
- Neurogenic bladder
- Urinary retention in women
- Urinary disorders after surgeries on the lesser pelvis
- Urinary disorders in specific diseases (Diabetes Mellitus, Parkinson's Disease, severe anemia)
Individual tests which are included in a complete Urodynamic Study:
- Uroflowmetry
- Cystometry
- Pressure-Flow Study
- Electromyography (EMG)
The examination is carried out in a specially designed space, the Urodynamic Laboratory, which ensures patients’ comfort and privacy. It takes about an hour and is fully regulated and safe.

Patient information:
- It is recommended for the patient to arrive 30' before the scheduled appointment time and bring the results of a recent urine culture test, which must be sterile, without microbes.
- It is recommended for patients coming from a Rehabilitation Center to contact the Attending Physician, Mr. N. Zygoulakis, for the necessary instructions before the examination.
