The "Ian Donald – 11th Advanced Course of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology: Difficult Cases – Best Solutions" seminar will be held on Friday, May 10th and Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at 09:00, at IASO Hospital’s Event Hall (37-39 Kifissias Ave., Maroussi).
It is estimated that more than 55,000 postgraduate students and professionals have been trained in Ian Donald Inter-University School of Medical Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, which was founded 42 years ago. The School has established branches in various countries (USA, India, China, Italy, Spain, Romania, Serbia, Hungary, Turkey, Croatia, Switzerland, Japan, Uruguay, Russia, Nepal, Ukraine and others) where it organizes Obstetrics and Gynecological Ultrasound Courses, Seminars and Conferences.
The purpose of the seminar is to provide an update on the advances of Ultrasonography in Obstetrics & Gynecology. In particular, renowned scientists in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, both from Greece and Europe, will present the latest insights in the field. In addition, this year, for the first time, a Hands-On Course will be held during the seminar. The honorable guest speakers of the seminar will be Mr. Asim Kurjak, MD, PhD, Professor Emeritus of Obstetrics and Gynecology, School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, Croatia; Mr. Giovanni Monni, Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Cagliari, Italy; and Mr. Bernat Serra Zantop, Director of Obstetrics Service, Dexeus University Hospital, Spain.
The Seminar’s Chair and Director of the Greek Branch of Ian Donald School is Mr. Aristeidis Antsaklis, MD, PhD, FRCOG (Hon.), Professor of Obstetrics - Gynecology, Maternal - Fetal & Perinatal Medicine at the University of Athens (NKUA), Director of IASO’s Maternal - Fetal and Perinatal Medicine Department, Chairman of IASO’s Scientific Council.
