3rd Common Seminar on Orthopedics & Rheumatology
“The excellent cooperation of medical specialties for the benefit of the patients’ health” is the title of the 3rd Common Seminar on Orthopedics and Rheumatology to be held on Thursday 17 December 2015, from 8.30 to 14.00, at IASO General’s Events Hall.
IASO General’s 1st Orthopedics Clinic and the Department of Rheumatology are, for the third time, organizing the 3rd Common Seminar on Orthopedics and Rheumatology. And, in cooperation with other medical specialties, they will present all current data on the shared fields of orthopedics and rheumatology.
The Presidents of the Organizing Committee are: Mr. Nikolaos Lagios, Orthopedic Surgeon, Chief of the 1st Orthopedics Clinic and Head of the Osteoporosis Clinic at IASO General, and Ms Eleni Komninou, Rheumatologist, Scientifically Responsible for the Department of Rheumatology at IASO General and the Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases and Pregnancy Clinic at IASO. To honor the primary role of the nurse in patient health, the keynote speech shall be delivered by Mr. Theodors Katsoulas, Assistant Professor in Nursing at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Mr. Vassileios Golematis, President of the Scientific Board at IASO General shall also deliver a speech.
Other speakers at the Seminar shall be renowned doctors at IASO General of various specialties such as endocrinologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, cardiologists, nephrologists, vascular surgeons and hematologists, for the global and comprehensive presentation of the topics.
The seminar shall elaborate on issues pertaining to osteoporosis, back pain, systemic lupus erythematosus and discussion of case reports shall follow. The message of cooperation and medical partnership, with a great sense of responsibility towards the patient, is disseminated throughout the conduction of the seminar.
