Scientific Seminar '11th Top-10 on Infections'
The Alpha Institute of Biomedical Sciences and the Internal Medicine – Infectious Diseases Clinic at IASO General, are holding a Scientific Seminar titled ‘11th Top-10 on Infections’ on Saturday 12 December 2015, from 10.00 to 17.00, at IASO General’s Events Hall (37-39, Kifissias Av., Maroussi). This interdisciplinary scientific seminar, the organization of which has been established over the last 11 years, demonstrates all current data in the field of infections.
Mr. Matthew Falagas, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine-Infectious Diseases, Chief of the Internal Medicine – Infectious Diseases Clinic at IASO General, is in charge of the seminar. Renowned physicians will participate as speakers and chairs. The scientific program of the seminar includes educational speeches on infections issues and discussion of case reports. The topics to be elaborated are:

- Antimicrobial Resistance
- Special speech: HPV and Neoplasia
- Analysis – Discussion of Case Reports

Due to the wide range of the topics, the seminar is addressed to physicians of various specialties such as internists, gynecologists, microbiologists, dermatologists, pediatricians, infectious diseases specialists, as well as to public health workers. Given its educational character and the analysis of clinical cases, the Seminar is also addressed to medical and nursing students.
