13th European Seminar of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology on 18.06.2015 at IASO
To date, the need for gynecologists’ to train in practice on managing patients with HPV-related lesions is greater than ever. In this effort of ours and within the framework of the 13th European Seminar of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the “Hands on” part of the Seminar will be held on Thursday 18 June 2015 at 08.30 a.m. at IASO Clinic, 37-39 Kifissias Avenue, Maroussi. The theoretical part of the Seminar will be held on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 June 2015 at Athens HILTON Hotel.
Today, we know that HPV infection constitutes a necessary and essential requirement for the development of cancer not only in the uterine cervix but also in other anatomic areas of the female lower genital tract such as the vagina, the vulva and the anus.
According to the President of the Organizing Committee and Chairman of IASO’s Scientific Board, Professor Mr. Emmanouil Diakomanolis, great emphasis will be placed on the treatment of precancerous lesions and the prevention of uterine cervix cancer.
The annually organized European Seminar of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, is now a point of reference in Greece. It is certified by the European Federation for Colposcopy (EFC) and the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) and is held under the auspices of the Hellenic Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (HSCCP)
