Complimentary examination to children suffering from talipes equinovarus (Clubfoot) by the Department of Pediatric-Orthopedics, the only center in Greece certified by the Ponseti International Association
Prompted by the World Clubfoot Day, IASO Children’s Hospital offers complimentary pediatric-orthopedic examinations to children suffering from Clubfoot.
The Orthopedics Specialists of the Department, awarded their specialization in Pediatric-Orthopedics by highly esteemed centers abroad, will examine all young clubfoot sufferers, independently of their age or previous treatment.
Clubfoot is the most common congenital myoskeletal deformity and affects 200,000 newborns every year, especially in the developed countries. The Department of Pediatric-Orthopedics at IASO Children’s Hospital, is the only pediatric department in our country certified by the Ponseti International Association. This is particularly important, given that the Ponseti Method is almost 100% effective, provided it is appropriately applied by specialists and is considered the ‘gold standard’ leading to a normal and productive life.
The Department manages all cases, even the most complex ones, related to myoskeletal and spinal diseases, despite the fact that the majority of the cases do not require surgical treatment. Also, the Department is fully equipped with the latest technology equipment and in collaboration with the Medical Imaging Laboratory, it provides for the effective management of all cases.
The offer is valid for the month of June, prior to telephone booking at +30 210 6383288 (10:00 to 17:00).
