A unique offer by the Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Center at IASO Children’s Hospital
IASO Children’s Hospital, acknowledging the fundamental importance of mother and child bonding, offers mothers the opportunity to understand the difficulties encountered in infancy and toddlerhood (children up to 5 years old) with the help provided by the Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Center.
The aim of Ms. Magda Liakopoulou, former Chief of the Department of Pediatric-psychiatry at the Children’s Hospital “Agia Sofia”, former Assistant Professor at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and currently Chief of the Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Center at IASO Children’s Hospital, is the strengthening of the mother-child bonding and the reduction of the said difficulties. In particular, Ms Liakopoulou says “The mother-child relationship, when developing without difficulties throughout infancy and toddlerhood, is the corner-stone for the child’s future good physical and mental development. The infant’s or the toddler’s character, the mother’s personality, the father, the economic status, etc, affect the bonding between the mother and the child. Any issues that may arise during this period in terms of feeding, sleeping and cooperation with others for example, affect and are affected by the mother-child bonding”.
The Department of Pediatrics at IASO Children’s Hospital, showing its love and care towards children, offers you the opportunity of a one-hour visit at the Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Center at the nominal price of 40 Euros.
The offer is valid for all appointments booked from 2 February to 9 March 2015. To arrange a consultation, please call at +30 210 6383070–2 (on a 24-hour basis) & +30 210 6383917(09:00-17:00).
