The initiative behind the founding of EPIZO arose in a time when the need to train and educate all parties interested or involved or in any way acting in the field of emergencies and life and community threatening situations management, seemed undeniable and imperative.
The scopes of EPIZO are educational, social, spiritual and investigative. All the aforementioned activities and objectives of EPIZO are materialized in the Greek territory and abroad, in cooperation with private and public bodies as well as with Universities and Technological or other Institutes.
The seminars are addressed to the general public as well as to special groups of the population. The seminars’ instructors are all Volunteers, members of EPIZO (Helpers, Nurses and Physicians) with great educational experience in respective programs.
At the end of the program, qualifying certificates with 5-year validity were awarded. The certificates are recognized by ERC (European Resuscitation Council), the only officially recognized course provider in Europe realizing and certifying CPR/AED programs.
