The IASO Running Team at the 42nd Athens Authentic Marathon!
The IASO Running Team ran the classic Marathon route in the 42nd Athens Marathon, filling us with emotion and admiration. Strength is not only about reaching the finish line. It’s about inspiring, sharing, and setting an example.
Congratulations to our three fastest runners:
- Mr. Konstantinos Lolis with a time of 3:12:43,
- Mr. Christos Patroklos Stefanis with a time of 3:50:01, and
- Mr. Thanasis Thomopoulos with a time of 3:54:26,
as well as to the entire team, who once again made us feel proud of everyone, of those who reached the finish line, those who struggled, and those who took a chance.
Moreover, the IASO Running Team participated actively in the 10 km road race of the 42nd Athens Marathon! It’s not the distance that matters, but your inner strength. As every race, whether small or big, is a personal victory, a promise that we can always reach a little further.
The first three runners on our team:

- Mr. Eleftherios Anastasakis with a time of 52:17, and
- Mr. Xenophon Stamatis with a time of 52:25!

10 years together at the Ladies Run!
On Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 IASO General Clinic, a consistent Health Partner of the event, stood by the Ladies’s side for the tenth consecutive year, taking care of their health every step of the way, with specialized medical personnel and a fully equipped ambulance on standby.
This year, we sent an even stronger message:
Prevention knows no age!
By offering check-up packages to the winners of the 15+, 50–59, and 60+ age groups, we reminded everyone that taking care of our health is the most important race we run every day.
Together with the 90 members of the hashtag#iasoladiesrunningteam, we filled the coastal route of Vouliagmeni with smiles, energy, and inspiration!

The IASO Running Team gave its very best at the 13th Athens Half Marathon, reaching new limits and proving that perseverance is the key to crossing the finish line.

The IASO Running Team at the 41st Athens Authentic Marathon!
On Sunday, November 10, 2024, 20 runners from the IASO Running Team took part in the legendary classic Marathon route, from Marathon to the Panathenaic Stadium, experiencing the intensity and emotion of every kilometer. At the same time, on Saturday, November 9, 56 members of the team participated in the 10km race, creating remarkable moments in a unique sporting experience in the heart of the city.
For the IASO Running Team, the race was not only a physical challenge. It was a journey of inner strength, discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. Our runners proved that, with determination and a clear goal, every obstacle can be overcome with a smile, with heart, and with dedication.

IASO General Clinic at the 2024 Ladies Run for the 9th consecutive year!
The #iasoladiesrunningteam, consisting of 80 assertive ladies, proudly participated in Ladies Run 2024 on Sunday, November 3rd, filling the coastal course with smiles, determination, and positive energy. Their participation, a truly valuable contribution, proves that when women join forces, they can achieve great things together.
With IASO General Clinic by their side as Health Partner, the Ladies felt safe and cared throughout the entirety of the course.
Together, we renew our run-dezvous for next year’s race!
Health Run 2024
Part of the proceeds from this charitable sporting event was donated to the Association of Parents and Guardians of Children with Neoplastic Diseases, “Pisti”.
The IASO Running Team united its strength, its hearts, and its steps, writing its own story in this race of love. With every step, the team carried a message of hope, transforming each effort into strength for the children who fight their own battle every day.
The IASO Running Team at the 12th Athens Half Marathon!
On Sunday, March 10th, 2024, the IASO Running Team participated in the 12th Athens Half Marathon, with 23 athletes running dynamically on the 21km course. Each one with their own personal goal and all together with the same will, they reached the finish line with effort, sweat, and many smiles!

The IASO Running Team in the 40th Athens Authentic Marathon
The IASO Running Team participated dynamically with a total of 76 athletes, on Saturday, November 11th and Sunday, November 12th 2023, in the Authentic Athens Marathon, which completed 40 years! All the IASO Running Team runners reached the end of their route in both the 10km Road Race and the Marathon Race, crossing with emotion the most historic finish line.

The IASO Running Team at the 39th Athens Authentic Marathon
More than 50 professional and amateur runners of the IASO Running Team participated in the leading sports event of our country.

IASO General Clinic was “loudly” present for another year at the 2022 Ladies Run!
The IASO Running Team participated in the 6th No Finish Line Athens
Every kilometer we recorded was turned into into money which will be donated to the "Together for Children" Association. The contribution of the IASO Running Team was significant, with 48 participants and 409 kilometers in total. Nikos Tzoumerkiotis had the best performance, running daily and traversing 160 kilometers, while also reaching the 15th place in the general ranking of the 100hr Charity Run!
We all responded enthusiastically by walking, running, dancing and participating in concurrent activities in this great charity race!

The IASO Running Team at the 38th Athens Authentic Marathon
- The IASO Team has been participating in the Ladies Run since 2016.
- IASO participated in the 42nd Road Race of the Municipality of Filothei-Psychiko, where the medical and nursing staff, with a fully equipped ambulance, ensured the safety of the runners.
- IASO Thessalias supported with specialized medical staff the Panhellenic Judo Championship which took place in Larissa on February 2nd-3rd, 2019. Moreover, IASO Thessalias supported the big sports event "Together we run for children with chronic diseases" that took place on 29 /9/2019, in Larissa.
- IASO Thessalias supported the big sports event "Together we run for children with chronic diseases" that took place on Sunday, September 30th, 2018, in Larissa. In addition, it participated in the 4th Panthessal youth football tournament under the name "Score for the Smile of the Child" of the association "The Smile of the Child", from June 1st to 3rd, 2018, at the AEL FC Arena.
- IASO supported the 6th World Championship in Athletics, which was held under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and took place at the Olympic Stadium from August 1st to August 10th, 1997. The event was attended by 1,882 athletes from 198 participating countries.
