MATERNITY - GYNECOLOGYWe would like to inform you that the 6th Scientific One-Day Conference on Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology on the topic “Ultrasound in Pregnancy and Labor: An Up-to-Date Overview” will take place on Friday, June 30th, 2023 at 09:00 a.m., at IASO Hospital’s Event Hall.
The Conference is organized by IASO’s Maternal-Fetal and Perinatal Medicine Department in collaboration with the Hellenic Society for Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Therapy and the Mediterranean Association for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MED – UOG) and it takes place under the auspices of the Hellenic Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology, the 1st Obstetrics & Gynecology Clinic of the School of Medicine of the University of Athens (NKUA), the International Academy of Perinatal Medicine (IAPM) and the Ian Donald Inter - University School, Greek Branch.
The Conference’s Scientific Director is Mr. Aristeidis Antsaklis, MD, PhD, FRCOG (Hon.), Professor of Obstetrics - Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal & Perinatal Medicine at the University of Athens (NKUA), Director of the IASO Maternal-Fetal and Perinatal Medicine Department, Chairman of the IASO Scientific Council.
The purpose of the One-Day Conference is to give an update on the developments in the field of Obstetric and Gynecologic Ultrasonography, but also to present the latest scientific data in regard to important and current issues of ultrasonography in pregnancy and labor.
Distinguished Greek speakers, specialized in the field of Obstetrics - Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine will participate in the Conference.
