The "Complex C-Section" Workshop and the 3^rd Seminar on the topic: "Postpartum Hemorrhage - Placenta Accreta Spectrum: Management and Treatment Step by Step", will be held on Saturday, November 16th and Sunday, November 17th, 2024, at IASO Hospital’s Event Hall.

The seminar is organized by the Hellenic College Research of Uterus – Placenta, having Mr. Stavros Fotopoulos, Operating and Delivery Room Coordinator, IASO, Director, Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) Treatment Department, IASO, as moderator.

The seminar is addressed to all Obstetricians - Gynecologists, Specialists and Residents, as well as to all Health Professionals involved in the delivery process. 

The seminar’s goal is to provide them with the necessary knowledge and tools in order to identify and treat Postpartum Hemorrhage and PAS.

The seminar’s theoretical section includes:

• Lectures completely focused on daily practice and effective management of Complex C-Sections and their complications 
• Interactive attendance of PAS surgeries
• Presentation and discussion on elective c-section and PAS cases 

In the Hands On Workshop, the participants will be given the chance to train on techniques of both hemorrhage identification and control, on manikins:

• Hemostatic B-Lynch Sutures
• Bakri Balloon Placement
• Aortic Compression Application
• Basic steps in partial hysterectomy and myometrium repair
