The 4th Oncology Clinic of IASO General Clinic is organizing a Scientific One-Day Conference on the topic "Supportive care: the precious cog in the oncologic wheel" under the aegis of the non-profit Organization "ElPIZO", on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, at IASO Hospital’s Event Hall.  

Within the framework of the continuous medical training, the conference’s purpose is to highlight the precious role of supportive care in the comprehensive therapeutic approach of oncologic patients, as in a hail of medical advances and innovative treatments, the importance of supportive care is often underestimated.

The conference is addressed to all healthcare professionals involved in the care of oncologic patients directly or indirectly, referring to the latest data concerning supportive therapy and aiming for the most comprehensive and qualitative medical practice.

The Scientific Director of the conference is Ms. Dimitra K. Kanaloupiti, M.D., Medical Oncologist, Director, 4th Oncology Clinic, IASO General Clinic.
